You can calculate how many packs of tiles you need using your wall/floor measurements and the sqm on the tile packaging.
If you are purchasing in-store, all tile packaging will list the square metres (m2) the pack will cover.
To calculate how many square metres you need to cover, you should:
1. Measure the length and width of your floor or wall in metres.
2. Multiply the two values together to calculate the total coverage.
3. Divide your calculation by the sqm per box. Remember to add 10% extra for cutting and wastage.
For example, if your room is 2m x 3m, you will have an area of 6m2. If the pack covers 0.5m2 you will require 14 packs. This includes 10% extra.
If you do find that you have an excess pack at the end of your project, you can return it to store and have it refunded. Check out our returns and refunds policy for more information.
If you are purchasing tiles online, the pack sizes by square meterage are listed on the product page for you. Explore our range of floor and wall tiles, including funky mosaic tiles and self-adhesive tiles for easy application.
