For BBQs & outdoor patio heaters, you will need propane gas. For indoor gas heaters, you will need butane gas.
The key difference between propane and butane is their boiling points. Butane’s boiling point is -1°C while the boiling point of propane is -42°C. This means that butane-fueled products cannot operate in temperatures under -1°C, whereas propane-fueled devices can function effectively all the way down to -42 °C.
Patio heaters and BBQs, using propane gas bottles, will function properly to keep you warm and full all night long in all types of weather. If you need to refill your gas BBQ or patio heater, be sure to get one of our propane gas cylinders and visit your nearest store when you need a refill.
