All Homebase plants with a ‘5-year Hardy Plant Guarantee’ logo on the label are plants that can survive the winter outside.
Plants considered ‘hardy’ are those that can survive low, winter temperatures. Even for plants that aren’t hardy, there are things you can do to help protect them during winter. For example, using garden structures such as a cold frame or plant cover will provide your plants with a protective layer against cold weather and frost. Laying mulch is another common way to protect plants by providing an extra layer of insulation, as well as suppressing weeds.
